Castlevania is a video game that was developed by Konami and was first published for the NES game console in 1987. You play vampire hunter Simon Belmont as he enters Dracula's castle where he battles other memorable characters like Medusa's head, Frankenstein, and Igor untill the final battle with Dracula himself.

An earlier version of Castlevania appeared on the MSX Personal Computer in 1986 called Vampire Killer. Since then there have been many sequels on various game system platforms.
