The Legend of Korra (also known as Avatar: The Legend of Korra) is a new American animated television series currently under development involving the creator of Avatar: The Legend of Aang, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko.[1][2] Although it has a similar title as Avatar: The Legend of Aang, it is expected to be a totally different television series.
Release[edit | edit source]
The development period and release dates are expected to be announced at the annual Comic-Con in San Diego, from the 22nd—25th of July 2010.[3][1]
Confusion with Season 4[edit | edit source]
Although originally rumoured to be the fourth season of the three-season series of Avatar: The Legend of Aang, the animation series is expected to be completely different from the previous Avatar; with the story to take place about 100 years after the defeating of Ozai in The Legend of Aang.[4]
